Critters
Welcome to our Critter Page, where the wild wonders of Penn Beach come to life in all their glory!
At Coop’s Croft, we embrace the rich tapestry of wildlife that calls our property home. From majestic deer to soaring bald eagles (we are the Pennsville Eagles after all) , bustling bird feeders to elusive rabbits, our landscape teems with life and vitality. Here, harmony isn’t just a concept – it’s a way of life.
Step outside and you might just catch a glimpse of the enchanting deer herds that use our grounds. With anywhere from 6 to 20 deer gracing us with their presence, they embody the beauty and grace of the natural world.
But the true stars of the show? None other than our resident bald eagle and its historic nest, a symbol of strength, resilience, and the enduring spirit of Penn Beach. For over a decade, this majestic bird has made its home among us, reminding us of the importance of preserving our natural heritage. We didn’t have these flying over when I was a kid.
And let’s not forget our feathered friends – the colorful chorus of birds that visit our feeders and grace us with their songs. From cardinals to chickadees, blue jays to finches, each visitor adds a splash of color and melody to our landscape. Plus they eat the bugs.
But it’s not just the big and the bold that capture our hearts – we cherish the smaller critters too. Brush piles I make, provide shelter for rabbits, while the stealthy skunks and raccoons remind us of the wild wonders that thrive in the darkness.
At Coop’s Croft, we believe in living in harmony with nature, making adjustments to meet our goals while also giving back to the creatures that share our space. It’s a delicate dance of balance and respect, where every creature has its place and every interaction is a celebration of life.
Join us on this journey of discovery as we explore the wild wonders of our Penn Beach property and learn to coexist with the critters that call it home. Together, let’s embrace the beauty of biodiversity and cultivate a deeper connection to the natural world. Welcome to our Critter Page – where every creature is cherished, and every encounter is a gift.
